Also I want to take this time to thank you for all your guidance and help the past few months. Also congratulations to Dee Angeles, who received her green cap necklace in Palm Springs. The Ventura Chapter 918 also was given a thank you award for sending Moose Charities over $3,000.00, good job ladies. I also accepted 2 top sponsor awards for Beth Jones and Elizabeth Gomez, keep up the good work. Now, how about the winner Sylvia Nevarrez who won the biggest raffle to date. Thank you all for supporting the Academy of Friendship fundraiser. To the volunteers who gave Jean Wolfe and I a break from time to time, thank you. Moving into October, as most of you are aware it's one of our biggest months, that's right Christmas in October. We will be doing our annual Christmas March on October 20th at 7:00pm. All donations go to Mooseheart and Moosehaven. I invite all of you to join us. Our own Moose Kids are also doing a fundraiser of their own. We got off to a great start making ribbons and bookmarks, for a small donation. All funds raised are for their Christmas Party. With that said, I would like to take this time to ask for help, donations, and volunteers so we can make it a great one. Please join us at a meeting or write down and slip them under the door. The next Kid's day is our annual Halloween Party on October 31st at 2:00pm. Come dressed in costume, parents are also invited to dress up, should be fun for all.
